The two leaders of the The Black Eyed Peas super group are facing yet another lawsuit. Will.i.am and Fergie have been slapped with a copyright infringement suit for a song co-written by Will, titled “Voodoo Doll” off of Fergie’s album, The Duchess. According to Grounded Music label, the song is a carbon copy of the song, “Each One Teach One” by the group Groundation.

Grounded Music owns rights to the product and filed court papers saying the song “is substantially and strikingly similar” to “Each One Teach One”. They are suing for an undisclosed amount of damages.

This is the third lawsuit concerning Will.i.am and Fergie this year. As previously reported, the entire band was sued just weeks ago by a former employee that claimed to have been injured during their 2007 ‘Black, Blue and You’ tour. The woman claims to have fallen through a flight of stairs during the band’s Burbank, California performance, receiving permanent injuries.

Before that incident a British DJ accused the band of stealing one of his beats. HipHopWired also reported that DJ Adam Freeland claimed the band stole the beat from his song, “Mancry” for their song, “Party All The Time.” Lawyers for both Freeland and The Peas were said to have been in contact but there is still no word on the outcome.
