40/40 Club Grand Reopening Event Review [Photos]
After undergoing a $10 million dollar renovation, the 40/40 Club reopened in grand fashion. The star-studded event was an exclusive invite-only affair, and played host to many of music & entertainment’s elite. Upon entry to the venue, patrons were greeted with a glass of Armand de Brignac Ace of Spades champagne, and if you were lucky, anĀ announcementĀ of your arrival by DJ S&S.
The changes are noticed immediately, as you can’t miss the new bar set up, which is illuminated with bottles of Ace of Spade, which surround four 165 inch flat screen televisions. Ā The chairs which hung from the ceiling are now gone, which allows for more room to mix & mingle. Also the upstairs section has been completely expanded, and now has stadium seating arrangements for the different levels en route to the second floor.
The 2nd level expansion enables more room, and gives the venue a true spacious second club area, whereas the older model Ā was often very congested. The new set-up also allows patrons to look down towards the lower level, giving it more of an elite, club-like experience.
The V.I.P. rooms on the 2nd floor have also been expanded, and fully enhanced. They also have varying looks, whereas the earlier version of the venue had the rooms very similar in look, and only differed in size. One in particular is called the “Jay-Z Room,” which contains a pool table, sports memorabilia, and much more.
