Unlike 50 Cent, there was no drama surrounding family attendance for the high school graduation of one of rap music’s legendary offspring.
Christopher “CJ” Wallace, Jr. has accomplished a lot in his 18 years on earth including starring in a major motion picture and the son of the late Notorious B.I.G. and R&B diva Faith Evans earned his high school diploma this past weekend.
“My first born son @cj_toa & I #proud,” Faith posted via her Instagram account as she posed with her scholar. CJ attended Santa Margarita Catholic High School (SMCHS) and joins the likes of Heisman Trophy winner Carson Palmer, Golden State Warriors star guard Klay Thompson and Glee actor Dominic Barnes as notable alumni from the college preparatory organization.
Although it was a mostly joyous occassion, a little bit of shade was thrown on the event when one of the CJ’s IG pics showed him in close proximity behind a classmate which prompted blogger Sandra Rose to hashtag #GayPride and mention Faith in the tweet. Naturally, her maternal defenses kicked in and she kindly invited Rose to snack on genitalia stating, “eat a hundred d*@#$!”
Such struggle shouldn’t prevent Young CJ from having a successful future in whichever avenue he tries to pursue. As a kid, he starred alongside Will Ferrell in the 2011 film Everything Must Go.
