Remy Ma is now a free woman with the Rap world seemingly in her palm. Of course she stopped by The Breakfast Club to catch everyone up on her time in prison, how is she moving forward with her life and much more.
Ever since she touched down, the Bronx native has been welcomed back by the Hip-Hop community with open arms. She has already lent her lyrical services to DJ Khaled’s “They Don’t Love You No More” Remix and French Montana’s posse cut “Megadeath”.
But at this point putting out new music is not the only focus for Reminisce. Of course DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God had a bunch of questions for her which resulted in an hour long interview.
So we present the top 10 things we learned from The Breakfast Club Remy Ma interview. Do you believe her explanation about her original beef with Nicki Minaj? Let us know in the comment section below.

1. Prison Fights
While in prison some of her fellow inmates did try to test Remy which resulted in some fights. The nature of the brawl? Said inmate felt like Remy did not like her.
2. DJ Khaled
Khaled has made it quite clear he wants to sign Remy to We The Best Records. While she appreciates the support, Remy is checking out all offers that are currently on the table.
3. Papoose
Remy Ma met Papoose through DJ Kay Slay. Originally she wasn’t checking for him but warmed up to the Brooklyn spitter after hanging out with him in the studio.
4. The Female Rapper Stigma
Remy feels in a way about how females are categorized in Hip-Hop. “Guy rappers aren’t called male rappers so why are we female rappers or femcees?”
5. Fat Joe
Remy reached out to Fat Joe before she was released. While they are on good speaking terms, they have yet to meet in person. Even though her husband Papoose had a fist fight with Joe, he agreed that settling their past Terror Squad beef was a good idea.
6. Orange Is The New Black
Remy Ma has caught a couple of episodes of everyone’s new favorite show. While she thinks the depiction of the staff is accurate, jail is far more gritty than the show makes it out to be.
7. “Feels So Good”
Remy denied the rumor that Jay Z blocked Ne Yo from appearing in her video for “Feels So Good.”
8. The Alleged Nicki Video
Still to this day Remy does not have a clue who this female in this video was.
9. Old Nicki Beef
After Nicki did a freestyle on “Yeah Yeah Yeah” where she said “Tell the chick with the crown to run it like Chris Brown,” Remy felt in a way. She met up Nicki and had a grown woman conversation with her and squashed the beef before it even got big.
10. Nicki Now
Remy also admitted that Nicki called Remy after being released. No word if they are getting in the studio in the immediate future.
11. Female Rap Beef
Remy thinks that females beefing in Rap does nothing to advance the culture and makes it harder for ladies trying to get their spotlight.
