Anyone familiar with underground, New Jersey rap in the ‘90s got a trip down memory lane when Outsidaz member Young Zee released “Dear Shady.”

Zee took Eminem to task for not signing him or aiding him when his house burned down. Zee also publicly admitted to selling marijuana, but that’s neither here nor there.

Did the founding Outsidaz member add himself to the list of people who dissed Eminem and lost? See who else is on the list in the following pages.

Christina Aguilera

Eminem versus Christina Aguilera may have been one of the dumbest beefs in history. Shady says she poked fun at his marriage and the song “97 Bonnie And Clyde.” He rapped about her giving up the hot pocket to Fred Durst and Carson Daly, and then anyone over the age of 16 probably stopped caring. They reconciled over a decade ago.

Insane Clown Posse

Maybe we should just chalk this one up to a white rapper thing? Eminem allegedly started a war on wax with ICP by claiming they would show up at one of his release parties before either he or ICP was really known outside of Michigan.

Ja Rule

Ja Rule

Em kind of got dragged into the whole 50 Cent versus Ja Rule thing, only Ja made the mistake of mentioning Eminem’s daughter. We all know how well that worked out for Ja Rule.

Will Smith

Will Smith

The line from “Mr. Niceguy” pretty much summed it up when Smith rapped, “Big Will just get another 20 mil and walk right past E.”

XXL

A perceived slight and an unflattering, unauthorized cover story should have tipped the odds in Em’s favor in this protracted press war. But a beef with another publisher and his magazine meant a truce was the only logical choice.

Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson

The King of Pop got mad because Eminem parodied Jackson’s hair catching fire and his nose falling off. It’s not like either of things kind of happened in real life.

Moby

Moby

It turns out Eminem was offended by Moby calling him homophobic, misogynistic, and anti-Semitic at the 2001 GRAMMY Awards. Em sent repeated shots, but Moby refused to engaged and even praised Eminem’s “Mosh” video.

Benzino and The Source

Benzino dissed Eminem on wax and via the pages of The Source by playing the race card in the latter. It was all fun and games until Em called Benzino the “83-year-old fake Pacino” on “Pull Your Skirt Up.”

Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit

Everlast and Limp Bizkit

A few lines were crossed when Everlast mentioned Eminem’s daughter Hailie and Shady brought up Everlast’s heart attack. At some point, both parties got over the beef, and we all did too.

Cage

Early in their careers, Cage accused Em of biting his style. There was some back and forth in the form of Em’s “Role Model” and Cage’s “And So Kiddies,” but that was about it.

Jermaine Dupri

Regardless of how you feel about Kris Kross, J.D. is probably going down in history for his contributions to Hip-Hop. Dre and Slim sent shots at Dupri for some comments to XXL on “Say What You Say,” but we all could have done without that tepid attempt at a diss song called “J.D.’s Reply.”

Asher Roth

Asher Roth

It’s hard to find fault with Asher’s lines from the 2009 track “Silly Boy,” but Eminem has been known to diss people merely for existing. Asher addressed the matter directly on the song “As I Em,” but it’s hard to think anyone would pay attention to another round of Em versus Asher.

Young Zee

The track “Dear Shady” didn’t come off so much as a diss than an entitled demand for recognition. Zee should also probably chill on publicly admitting selling weed, since medicinal marijuana laws aren’t that lax yet.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon

Give Nick credit for attempting to stick up for his boo at the time. But between “Superman,” “The Warning,” and “Bagpipes Over Baghdad,” Em made it clear that neither Mariah or Nick want beef.
