You gotta admit the acting on FOX’s Empire can be suspect—except for Taraji P. Henson, of course—but the over the top storyline is hella entertaining. The latest episode featured a drive by, Lucious continuing to act hard body with that soft ass voice and Cookie stealing every and any scene she is a part of.
We didn’t even mention struggle rapper Hakeem’s poor attempts at being a playboy. Peep what went down in the latest episode of Empire (episode no. 4, titled ‘False Imposition’) on the following pages.

Cookie is now Teyana’s manager. This is can only result in drama, and we’re here for it.
The Hood
Jamal is living in the hood but Cookie needs him to get his music together. He might want to get some bars for those windows if he’s on the first floor, though.
Takeem
Hakeem and his girlfriend/label mate landed a gig performing on a BET’s 106 & Park (RIP) type show. How long before their storyline heads to Chris Brown and Rihanna territory?
Face Off
Lucious had a tense chit chat with Beretti (Judd Hirsch), the guy who has Titan under a recording contract. It turns out Lucious feels a ways that Beretti added his name to songwriting credits, thus making money off of his art. Cold game.
Shoot Em Up
While trying to work behind the scenes to woo Titan from his label, Lucious and his debutante almost become victims of a drive. Sh*t is real.
