Russell Wilson stepped up to make it official with his lady love. Wilson announced that he proposed to Ciara Friday (March 11) while the couple has been on an overseas excursion.

“Following Paris Fashion Week, Russell surprised Ciara with a surprise holiday,” her rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.
Playing a game of “travel roulette,” Wilson gave his future wife 30 possible destinations in the world to guess where she was headed. “She was shocked when they landed in the Seychelles at the exclusive resort North Island,” adds her rep.
The resort is a popular holiday destination for royals and other famous faces. Prince William and Duchess Kate honeymooned there, and other power couples like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt and Victoria Beckham and David Beckham have all vacationed there.
Ciara and the Seattle Seahawks quarterback started dating a year ago, and they’ve been inseparable ever since.
