We’ve said before and we’ll say it again, Steph Curry may not be of this Earth. The lock for the NBA MVP returned from a badly sprained right knee to drop 40 on the Portland Trailblazers last night (May 9), including a record 17 points in overtime.
Chef Curry wasn’t flawless, though. He did shoot a relatively suspect 5-16 from deep.
But he got hot late in the game, leading the Warriors to a 132-125 win with damn near a triple double (40 points, 9 rebound and 8 assists). The full complement of crossovers, deep shots and sh*t talk was on display.
