Black people are gifted at taking something painful and making it funny. Thus #BenAndJerrysNewFlavor, a hilarious flip on “woke” ice cream flavors. 

Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream joining team Black Lives Matter is was spawned the trending topic. Specifically, Twitter user @SKTV_  aka Trav NEVER Chills gave the hashtag new life by tweeting Shea Butter pecan, and it was on.

Black Twitter got a hold of it and the pun-heavy names, and memes, are flying. Some are pure jokes.
