Ahh yes, a Black man (okay, anybody really) getting a new job is a cause for a celebration. That gets ramped up a notch when the guy with the new gig is Big Tigger and the friends making sure it was marked with a proper event at the Reign nightclub in Atlanta include T.I., Young Jeezy, Nelly and Ne-Yo.
Around this time last year, Tigger probably wasn’t so happy since he had just gotten fired from DC’s WPGC, on his birthday no less. But now, the former BET Rap City host has a new spot as the afternoon DJ at V103 in Atlanta.
The celebration went down at Reign on Tuesday, January 1, and T.I., Jeezy, Nelly and Ne-Yo performed for the well liked, veteran radio personality. Also in the spot were Young Dro, Big Kuntry King and Atlanta Hawks forward Josh Smith. Oh, and of course, Tip’s wife Tiny was also in the house.
Did Tigger take it back to The Basement days and kick a freestyle, though? Check out flicks of what went down, courtesy of ATLPics.net, in the gallery.
