The-Dream’s left the swap meet and is back in the lab working on his next album Fourplay.
The first single from the album is the recently released “Slow It Down” featuring frequent collaborator Fabolous. The singer/songwriter also known as Terius Nash is fresh off of snatching another Grammy award last month for best Rap/Sung collaboration for the Jay-Z and Kanye West collaboration, “No Church In The Wild.”
In other news, Dream has returned to Twitter with a new handle (@TheKingDream) and has been working hard on new albums from Jay-Z, Kanye West and Beyonce. The gifted song producer slows the tempo down considerably in comparison to his previous lead singles of the past. He originally jumped off Love/Hate with the bouncy “Shorty Is A 10,” while leading off Love Vs. Money with “Rockin’ That S**t.”
Mr. Nash even admits that this song is “too slow for the radio,” a bold statement from the artist that called himself the “Radio Killa.” Who knows if he will correctly predict the success of his single, but Fourplay will be hitting stores on May 7th on Def Jam Records.
