Last night, BET aired their 9th annual celebration of music and fashion, Rip The Runway, during which a bevy of notable Hip-Hop and R&B artists typically grace the stage. This year was no different, as Trinidad Jame$ and Maybach Music Group’s own Rick Ross and Meek Mill were among those to perform in front of the packed house at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom.
The crowd chanted away for Meek Mill, who brought out Rozay for a lively rendition of his Dreams and Nightmares track “Believe It,” but it was Jame$ performance that “turnt up” the crowd. The Atlanta rapper kicked things off with “Female$ Welcomed,” before segueing into the obvious choice, “All Gold Everything.”
Other performers included crooner Luke James, Omarion, Jayden Smith, and Chris Brown’s signee Sevyn, who gave an impressive rendition of her debut single “I Like It.” The aforementioned Smith also showcased his clothing line MSFT along with his rhymes with on the “MSFTS Anthem.”
