The NBA playoffs are officially underway, and for sneaker aficionados that means plenty of sneaker heat to lust after. Jordan Brand does its part to satiate (or spark) fans thirst to see what their favorites players are rocking thanks to their PE (player exclusive) kicks for the likes of Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony and more.
Westbrook has been sporting the top of the line Air Jordan XX8 and gets home (white) and away (black) inspired colorways with photo blue and tour yellow hits. Ray Allen, Joe Johnson, Gerald Wallace and Richard “Rip” Hamilton also get PE’s of AJ XX8.
Melo gets a crispy Knicks inspired (white, game royal and team orange) colorway of his M9 signature shoe while Paul gets a Clippers inspired white, black, gym red and game royal colorway of the Jordan CP3.VI AE. The “AE” stands for “artisan edition,” which denotes that the shoes materials have been upgraded for the post-season with a mesh window in the quarter for breathability and Dynamic Fit straps that around the midsole and integrate with the laces for added support.
Finally, Blake Griffin, will keep wearing the Jordan Super.Fly 2 in a cement grey, game royal and gym red colorway while Kevin Martin and D.J. Augustine will be seen in the Jordan Aero Mania Low and Aero Mania, respectively.
