Last night, the first #CRWN interview was held in New York City’s Highline Ballroom. The interview was veteran Hip-Hop journalist and Rap Radar founder Elliott Wilson and the man answering the questions was Tyler, the Creator of Odd Future fame, or infamy depending on how you feel about the guy.
Hip-Hop Wired caught some flicks of the night, which featured a crowd full of teenaged fans and some media types eager to see what insight YN would be able to pull out of Wolf Haley. Word is Tyler opened up a lot, talking about his mom, the death of his grandmother and his verse on “Rusty” from his latest album, Wolf. The “Yonkers” rapper even took questions from the audience and accepted gifts from his fans, and granted a hug.
Tyler apparently thought the night was a win, tweeting, “TONIGHT WAS SICK I LOVE YOU ALL THANKS FOR COMING GOLF WANG ALL U F-GS THAT WAS THERE MEANS THE WORLD TO ME WE’RE JUST ALIKE HELL YEAH GW!!!,” last night.
