The show wasn’t quite over after the conclusion of the 2013 BET Awards, because that’s when 2 Chainz decided to premier the visual to his new single “Feds Watching.”
With Pharrell by his side, the Hair Weave Killer doesn’t seem to have a care in the world while he parties with a fleet of beautiful women at a lavish Los Angeles estate.
We assume that it’s easy to feel comfortable when you have a personal “Chiquita” (peep the Belly reference) on your team; she hands coppers the fade and destroys all evidence just as the video begins.
“Feds Watching” honestly had to grow on us, but with the accompanying treatment, we’d say Chainz has another hit on his hands. Knowing his track record, more will be found on his forthcoming sophomore album, B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time, due out September 10.
