Snoop Dogg, now to be referred to as Snoopzilla, hit up Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night (Oct. 21) to perform along with Dam-Funk. The duo kicked a rendition of “Do My Thang” from their forthcoming 7 Days Of Funk collaborative album.
The West Coast rap vet was sporting white gloves and joined on stage by Bishop Don Magic Juan, who did not rap, but he was there. The synth heavy groove sounded crispy live. Snoopzilla also sat down for an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, which you can watch on the flip. Interesting, Snoop admits that Willie Nelson is the only person that “smoked him out” three years ago in Amsterdam.
7 Days of Funk is due in stores December 10 via Stones Throw (you can see the album’s artwork, by Lawrence Hubbard, on the last page of the gallery). Be sure to check out the project’s lead single, “Faden Away,” too. Watch Snoop and Dam-Funk perform “Do My Thang” below.
