The general stereotype of a rap video is that it has to be layered with Bangin’ Candy to hold your attention.
True, there’s a little bit of that to be found here but what but nobody wants to a YouTube video with the mute button on.
We have a couple of legends in the making, a current legend, an ode to a fallen legend and some cinematography shots that are a thing of legend. Is it safe to say that this list is…legendary?
This should keep you occupied all weekend. Sift through the gallery and tell a friend which one was your favorite of The Wrap Up: Hip-Hop Wired’s Top 10 Videos Of The Week.

Cory Mo Ft. Talib Kweli – “Alot More To Give”
It’s invaluable to have a working relationship with your boss. This is a prime example of it.
K Camp Ft. Kwony Cash – “Money Baby”
Motion Family follow Hip-Hop’s golden rule: combine T&A with a banging record and you get…gold. Newcomer K Camp has a winner with this one.
Justin Timberlake – “TKO”
No need to sit and split hairs over genre. Justin delivered us a mini-movie. Simple as that.
Phil AdĂ©, Dyme-A-Duzin, Alex Wiley – “TeamBackPack”
This East Coast trio just took it back to the days of Big Tigger and the Bassment.
Victor Niglio ft. Mr. Man – “Jiggy”
If pushed right, this could be the new “Smack My B*tch Up.” It’s that good.
Marco Polo ft. Talib Kweli & DJ Premier – “G.U.R.U.”
Talib Kweli makes his 2nd appearance on the list, jolting the memory of all listeners of the late Keith “Guru” Elam’s prominence. Marco Polo and the other half of Gang Starr is there too.
Cage – Merry Mithras
Rap’s Halloween was relatively tame (minus the actual costumes) but off-kilter artist, Cage gave us a Freaky Friday tale to scare us straight.
Yancey Boys ft. Common & Dezi Paige – “Quicksand”
Anytime an artist can remind Common that he’s actually a rapper, they automatically score a flawless victory.
Stalley – “Gettin’ By”
Stalley not only dropped one of the cleanest videos of the week, but the whole damn year. N words in Paris strikes again.
