Sex sells. It’s something Kanye is well aware of even when it seems like he’s just ranting to his heart’s content. And when you’re an artist of his magnitude and you combine that with a whiff of T&A, you’re going to cast a wide shadow across the industry’s scope.
By now we’ve all seen the “Bound 2” video and all the reactions its generated. As for the other nine videos included on this week’s edition of Hip-Hop Wired’s Top 10 Videos Of The Week, none can claim they have a segment with Kim Kardashian getting drilled on a motorcycle, but they still add their own unique flavors to the list.
Going into Thanksgiving weekend, there were several up-and-coming acts that muscled their way in the bit of spotlight Kanye left up for grabs. From green screen wackiness, to geniune comedy to a bit of cinematic erotic, the gang’s all here for your viewing pleasure.
No need to belabor the point. Start your players.

Step Brothers (Alchemist & Evidence) – “Step Masters”
Despite being brothers from different mothers, Alchemist and Evidence are evenly matched in their game of shenangans.
Gee Watts – “199x (Sixteen Nineteen)”
The Kansas City chieftan is on a different level of gangsta. Relax and take notes.
Action Bronson & Party Supplies – “Amadu Diablo”
Bronsolino keeps you entertained with lyrics and antics. The total package in 2013.
Kennedy Rothchild – “Work It Out”
Sin City meets Moulin Rouge.
Pharrell Williams – “Happy”
Whether you side with this version or the all-day pass, Pharrell knows how to put a smile on your face.
Mistah F.A.B. – “Cry About It”
Tears will just make your problems damp and salty and Fabby Davis Jr. instructs you how to work around it.
Yo Gotti – “LeBron James”
The Memphis Grizzly aims to be the game’s MVP and this throwback video (of sorts) states the case for him.
SayItAintTone ft. Icewear Vezzo, Oba Rowland & Boldy James “Word Of Mouf (Remix)”
Remixes are always supposed to be turnt up. Who is SayItAintTone to screw with tradition?
Kosha Dillz ft. Gangsta Boo & Murs – “Where My Homies Be”
Gangsta Boo don’t need no stinkin’ Juicy J. She’s getting biz in oddball videos with the underground’s hardest working Jew.
Kanye West – “Bound 2”
If there was anything lesson to be learned from this fiasco, it’s Kanye will never have to pay for another video vixen again. Probably, maybe, not really.
