Sorry for the delay good people, but, after a few weeks off, Hip-Hop Wired reintroduces you to The Hip-Hop Shop: 10 Dope Rap-Inspired Goods. This edition commemorates a legend in Hip-Hop culture — the one and only J. Dilla.

On what would have been the Detroit native’s 40th birthday, we’ve given his fans a list of goods inspired by his legacy. This includes artistic pieces, clothing, and of course, the music.

It was Dilla’s work behind the boards and on the microphone that made it well respected throughout various generations. For proof, see how the Internets paid homage to him over the last 24 hours. And if you’re a part of the collective of Dilla enthusiasts, hit the gallery after the jump.

J Dilla Donuts (45 Box Set)

The great Dilla Dawg notoriously made this LP from a hospital bed in Los Angeles, while he was greatly suffering from Lupus. Questlove has said that he feels like this was the producer’s last way of communicating with his loved ones. With stories like that surrounding it, why not go big and purchase the 45 box set?
