During last night’s 2014 Academy Awards ceremony, host Ellen Degeneres hopped around the star-studded crowd taking selfies with Hollywood’s elite. However, a major selfie featuring a gaggle of stars was retweeted over 1 million times in 45 minutes. Naturally, Twitter went in with the memes.
Although Degeneres’ epic selfie was one of the true highlights of the Oscars, it didn’t take long for the funny folks on Twitter and abroad to add their own humorous twists to the photo.
The original photo featured Kevin Spacey, Jennifer Lawrence, Brad Pitt, Bradley Cooper, Lupita Nyong’o and half of Jared Leto’s face among others.
With folks using flicks of Drake and Lil Mama, including recent meme faves Doge and Grumpy Cat, a lot of other stars got hit in the meme crossfire including Degeneres herself.
