The Internet created thousands of innovative ways to display creativity, but artist Adly Syairi Ramly prefers to keep it simple by using Legos. The self-proclaimed knowledge, music, LEGO and diecast car junkie actually has an affinity for Hip-Hop and uses the building blocks to recreate rap legends.
We first got wind of Ramly via a piece by High Snobiety on some iconic bands he’s remade in Lego form. After a little research, we discovered that he spends ample time doing similar projects on rappers he enjoys. The likes of Jay Z, Eminem, Beastie Boys, Tupac Shakur, and more can be found in his archive of artwork.
What’s more impressive is that Ramly takes all of the artsy images of his work with an iPhone 5s. Hit the gallery after the jump to see some of his creations. Leave a comment with your thoughts on what you see.
