It must get pretty busy over at the Young Money/Cash Money headquarters because only a select portion of its roster releases albums. Wth Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and Drake in the lineup you can’t be totally surprised by who becomes priority.
Drizzy released Nothing Was the Same last year, Wayne’s Tha Carter 5 (to be followed by another release, Da Other Album) will be out sometime in the next couple of months, and Nicki Minaj’s expects to give us the Pink Print before year’s end.
Those albums alone translates into a lot of work for the YMCMB staff. Plus, running a label isn’t easy, and with YMCMB it seems that they’ve been slow to move on projects from their lesser knowns.
Wayne’s daughter, Reginae Carter, is signed to YMCMB last year, as her father announced on his weekly installment of “Weezy Wednesdays. yesterday” Despite just now linking with her doting dad, Baby Carter has been at this music thing for a few years, originally with the OMG girls. Now that she’s officially on her solo steez, she adds another name to the album assembly line.

Gudda Gudda
Gudda was one of Young Money’s first signees back in 2005, and released his debut mixtape in 2009. His debut is scheduled for this year.
Chanel West Coast
Los Angeles rapper Chanel West Coast signed to Young Money in 2013. She dropped a mixtape that July but no album yet. She does have a single in rotation however, it’s called “Been On.”
Cory Gunz
We’ll never forget the way Gunz killed “A Milli.” Six years later, no album.
Euro
Euro is still new to the YMCMB family. The Dominican Republic-born-rapper got his official Weezy co-sign on the Dedication 5 mixtape. His Don’t Take Nothing mixtape debut will be out this year.
Jae Millz
Harlem’s Jae Millz signed to Young Money in 2008. After a some legal issues and guest spots on YMCMB compilations, his Nothing Is Promised debut has yet to lock down a release date.
Lil Twist
Justin Bieber played a big part in the headlines that Lil Twist racked up in 2013. He’s supposed to be releasing an album titled, Bad Decisions this year.
Shanell
We’ve heard Shanell on lots of YMCMB songs, and four solo mixtapes, but no album just yet.
Torion Sellers
This relationship went sour over an album delay. Last July, Sellers sued to get out of his contract because he hasn’t put a project out yet.
Mack Maine
Mack Meezy is too busy being a boss to drop an album right now. He is the president of Young Money after all.
Christina Milian
C-Milli signed to YMCMB in 2012 and never released a project. Rumor has it that she and Weezy are engaged in some non-music-related business.
