Getting to work with Jay Z on music is not an easy task. Even though he has collaborated with some of Rap’s finest, there are some notable MC we still hope will get in the studio with Hov before he becomes a full fledged civilian.

Why exactly Jay decides to work with certain artists and shun others is beyond us. He reportedly gave Cam’ron the spin for months while Killa was his artist on Roc-A-Fella, but had Blue Ivy Carter jump on a track right after she was born.

But what remains in between those two extremes are collaborations that need to happen. So with the hopes that S.C. reads this, we present 11 rappers Jay Z has never collaborated with.

Do you think Black Thought would murder Jigga on his own ish? Let us know in the comments section below.

1. Black Thought

As one of the most proficient MC’s of our time, we think Black would give Jay a run for for his money. At least a little bit of that money.

2. Wiz Khalifa

The stoner melodies might bring out a different side of the Roc Nation CEO, or nah?

3. LL Cool J

Misunderstandings aside these two legends should have been involved in a posse cut a long time ago.

4. The Game

Yes they have traded shots but both can rhyme their asses off so why not do it for Hip-Hop?

5. Bone Thugs-N-Harmony/strong>

B.I.G. paid his respects, why shouldn’t Hov?

6. Lauryn Hill

This is a no brainer.

7. Ghostface Killah

We are still itching at the thought of of these two doing a story track together.

8. Common

Other than a name drop on The Black Album and a remix Common did of Jay’s “Open Letter,” the two have yet to link up musically.

9. Mos Def

Yes they were both on the Talib’s “Get By” Remix, but you would think these two would have had a couple of songs in the stash by now. Do it for Brooklyn.

10. Ice Cube

Jay isn’t shy about working with the West Coast so we still scratch our heads on why he hasn’t made it work out with the Don Mega.

11. Fat Joe

Legend has it the two veterans have had their problems in the past but it’s at the point where they should meet up at DJ Premier’s studio and just bang a song out.
