Tuesday night’s (Sept. 23) episode of Sisterhood of Hip Hop wasn’t a very entertaining hour at all.

However flat the seventh entry falls, a few things transpire that are worth mentioning. Brianna finds herself struggling as she attempts for the first time to take care of business without “momager” Kiki by her side. Bia chooses which record label to call home –– a career-altering decision, which could ultimately change her life forever. And the always bullheaded Nyemiah makes an emotional breakthrough, shifting her outlook on life in general.

Hit the flip to peep some of the highlights you may have missed. Watch clips at the end.

Crocodile Tears

Brianna learns the hard way what it’s like to operate in the music biz without her mother. Kiki then becomes vulnerable and sheds a few tears for the camera when she finds out Brianna did her first solo video shoot.

Structure

Brianna meets with a potential new manager, who makes clear to separate business from pleasure. Change is good, right?

Fork In The Road

Bia chooses RCA over Columbia Records, despite the fact that her mentor, Pharrell, is signed to the latter.

One On One

Nyemiah undergoes therapy in order to eradicate some of her cold-heartedness (not cliché at all).

More Waterworks

During a heart to heart with mom, Nyemiah breaks down in tears as her parental unit admits her mistakes in rearing her daughter. Side note: the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree.

Ghost

The two strongest characters, Siya and Diamond, see little air time in the latest episode.

Bawse

Rick Ross and Fat Joe try to light some fire under Brianna’s ass with some words of encouragement. We hear stuff like “destiny,” “next level,” and “conquer the game.” We’ll see.

Murder Inc

Ja Rule appears. Is Siya joining the squad?
