In 2011, Lil Wayne put out the Sorry 4 The Wait mixtape to hold fans over until Tha Carter IV finally hit shelves.

It appears as though Weezy is again carrying out this tactic to whet the appetites of fans whose anticipation for Tha Carter V progressively heightens.

Both Check Fee and Mack Maine have supported the upcoming Sorry 4 The Wait 2 tape via social media.
