ATLien Rome Fortune’s music is an acquired taste. Fans of tracks with groovy vibes will love this one.
9. Young Thug – “Cloud 9”

Thugga continues to deliver prospective hit records. Needless to say that he’ll likely continue to flood the airwaves in 2015.
8. Waka Flocka Flame – “5:56”

We’re convinced that Waka Flocka has sipped the Space Jam juice; his bars have been ridiculously good as of late.
7. ILOVEMAKONNEN ft. Despot & Ezra Koenig – “Down 4 So Long (Remix)”

The Atlanta newcomer is joined by Queens rapper Despot and Koenig of Vampire Weekend on this thoughtful cut.

5. Wara From The NBHD – “Brockett Road Rage”

Wara has diversified his sound, though The Neptunes are still a major influence. And that’s far from a bad thing.

Jenkins remains one of the more impressive lyricists of the year. If you’re a little late to the dance, get acquainted to his way with words here.
3. Wale ft. Pusha T – “The Deep End”
Producer: Tone P
Though scant, Wale and Pusha Ton’s collaborative discography remains strong.
2. Maffew Ragazino – “Golden Moments”

Per usual, the Brooklyn MC shines over some spine tingling, soulful production.
1. Joey Bada$$ – “Curry Chicken”
Producer: Statik Selektah
From the sound of the early leaks, the Pro Era frontman’s debut may insert him into early conversations for album of 2015.
