There’s a collective Snow Day after yesterday’s (Jan. 26) blizzard left a good chunk of the Northeast covered in powder. There’s more where that came from too.
Reports the Weather Channel:
Winter Storm Juno pounded locations from Long Island to New England with heavy snow, high winds and coastal flooding Tuesday. The storm will be gradually winding down through Wednesday, but not before dumping more snow in some areas.
New York City and the tri-state area, were braving for a snow showdown that didn’t end up being as catastrophic as anticipated (this is a good thing). Whole Foods was the site of some serious pre-blizzard hipster struggle however, and airport delays remain rampant.
Out of about seven states, Massachusetts seems to have taken the brunt of the weather beating, at over 30 inches in some areas.
Peep some of the blizzard photos (including this one guy who dressed up as a Yeti and walked around Boston).
