Kid Ink has been on a fireblazing promotional trail in support of his sophomore studio effort, Full Speed. As the star-studded “Ride Out” (co-starring Tyga, Wale, YG and Rich Homie Quan) was being mastered, the tattooed rap star was back home in Los Angeles helping usher in new talent as a judge for the Jack’N For Beats Finale.
The contest pitted 10 unsigned MCs against one another for a chance to win $5,000 and distinguish themselves from the bottomless pit of rappers who maraude the Internet.
Despite having serious competition to fend off, Young Twaun was able to emerge as the victor and took home the crown of Jack Daniel’s® Tennessee Honey chip. It took an entire two months for the sweet liquor brand to weed out the best West Coast MC and the Detroit native was able to prove himself.
Angela Yee and DJ Envy of The Breakfast Club also assisted Kid Ink as celebrity judges for the Jack’N For Beats Finale.
