With every new development in the ongoing fatal hit and run case being built against former Death Row Records kingpin Suge Knight, the details we’ve been privy to have become weirder by the day.
Knight’s latest legal woes began back in January after he was charged in the fatal hit and run killing of associate Terry Carter, adding to a long list of legal issues for the former record label honcho. This latest round of struggle du jour takes the cake, and much of it seems too strange to be true.

I Ain’t Do It
Despite everyone putting him at the scene in the fatal hit and run of the 55-year-old Carter, Suge Knight pleaded not guilty with confidence at the onset.

Suge Knight had a panic attack on Feb. 3 in court and was rushed to the hospital.

The whole thing started because Knight visited the set of a commercial being shot for the N.W.A. biopic, Straight Outta Compton, in the famed California city. Knight and Dr. Dre’s security team got into a little scuffle.

Carter, who sources say was close to Knight, called Knight to another location where Dr. Dre, Ice Cube and The Game were set to film more promo footage for the commercial. Carter said he set up peace talks with Dre and Knight. Knight claims he was jumped, causing him to run over Carter with his pickup truck in escape.

There is some footage of the hit and run incident, which Knight’s legal team thinks will clear his name and back up claims Carter and others tried to ambush him. TMZ sources say that Knight’s story that Carter had a gun is a big fat lie.
Those Hospital Trips Though
Knight was rushed the hospital, claiming issues from his shooting injuries he caught last year. Knight was just about to appear before the judge on Feb. 19, and his attorney claims Knight suffers from bleeding in his stomach. Yeah. We’re thinking it too.

Knight fired his attorneys and his now complaining about blindness in what appears to be another bid to delay the inevitable.
Maybe Suge Knight Isn’t Fronting
The video footage released by TMZ and other outlets does appear to show Carter and another man, Cle “Bone” Sloan, looking as if they were attacking Knight. There also seemed to be shades of a possible gun. Knight’s attorneys claimrf the men were armed.

Knight intends on claiming he had a right to defend his life using the “stand your ground” law George Zimmerman applied in his shooting case involving unarmed teen, Trayvon Martin.
