With an appearance on Empire and a new single with Rita Ora, the oft-embattled Charles Hamilton has full circled through the pits of Hades to complete his comeback, right? Right? Eh...

“Sheeeit” said music fans on social media as Hot 97 announced that he would not only be performing at this year’s Summer Jam, but getting his own stage. It’s a huge look and while we’re not going to count the “Brooklyn Girls” boy out, it seems like many already have.

At the beginning of March, the 27-year-old MC officially resumed his career by signing with Republic Records and opened up about his darkest moments, which included suicidal thoughts and tendencies.

Now, he has the opportunity to get back on the good foot, only after he can make believers out of the people who got his name trending for the unintended reasons.

Flip through the gallery to see the Charles Hamilton Summer Jam stage slander. It’s ugly. But, “New York Raining” is on iTunes now.
