If you’re in the market for some graphic design or creative direction, you may want to give Jesse Nuñez a ring. The artist by way of Paterson, New Jersey just put his talent on public display by reimagining some of the most classic Hip-Hop albums ever made with a NBA counterpart.
The Internet is very familiar with NBA memes but Nuñez really showed his knew his stuff by aligning the album’s thematic content with the ideal NBAer. The New York Knickerbockers are currently running down the court with their woes and worst record in the game and Carmelo Anthony was given a resilent mockup for 50 Cent’s debut. Steph Curry’s MVP-like year has him looking like an all-time great and he was given the golden treatment of a certain Queensbridge MC’s magnum opus.
And the list goes on.
Take a look at Nuñez’s handiwork in the slideshow below, beginning with these appropriate gem for the age Kobe Bean Bryant.
