50 Cent is far from broke. Between Vitamin Water and his first two albums, he should literally still be making money in his sleep.

A recent decision to declare bankruptcy has cast Fif’s finances in a different light, and these 11 expenses hurting 50 Cent’s pockets help explain why.

Mike Tyson’s Old Mansion

The infamous palatial estate formerly known as “The Mike Tyson Mansion” has been on and off the market for years. Fif copped the 23 bedroom, 35 bathroom mansion from Iron Mike’s ex wife in 2003 for $4.1 million. He’s been unable to unload it.

Sleek Headphone Lawsuit

Few things can sour a business partnership like a $16 million lawsuit. After their 2011 deal fell through, 50 Cent kept it pushing with SMS Audio and found himself being sued for misappropriating trade secrets, breaching his fiduciary duty, and a host of other charges.

Lastonia Leviston Lawsuit

By now, everyone knows 50 Cent will go the extra mile when it comes to beef. That strategy backfired when he had his image superimposed over a sextape of one of the mothers of Rick Ross’ children on his site BooBooTV.com. A judge ruled in favor of Leviston for a cool $6 million.

Paid Young Buck’s Taxes

Both 50 and Buck have gone on record saying Fif financially bailed out his reinstated G-Unit soldier after he faced a slew of financial troubles in the past few years.

The Money Team

Take a look at one of the checks Floyd Mayweather posts on Instagram, and you’ll see Golden Boy Promotions. What you won’t see is a mention of “The Money Team.” The venture originally planned by 50 and Floyd in 2012 has never hauled in the type of profits most expected when 50 hinted that Floyd would switch from Golden Boy to TMT.

Olivia And G-Unit Struggle Artists

For 50’s sake, let’s hope the G-Unit Records release of Mobb Deep’s Blood Money and any advance paid to Olivia was part of a pressing and distribution deal with Interscope. That would have left Jimmy Iovine holding the bag and not 50.

Bentley

Surprise, surprise…most of your favorite rappers don’t own their cars because they lose half their value once driven off the lot. In his recent bankruptcy case, 50 testified he was only able to buy a Rolls Royce after trading in a Lamborghini and another car.

American Express

When you’re stunting like this on Instagram, it might be better to choose paper over plastic and the interest fees that come with opening a $64,909 credit line with American Express.

His Grandfather

Meet Curtis James Jackson Sr. This man doesn’t look like he plays when it comes to his finances, so if you owe him $1,737, it’s probably a good idea to run him his money.

Two Children

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, it costs about $250,000 to raise a child until the age of 18. With Marquise Jackson and Sire Jackson, Fif has two sons, and that doesn’t take any possible spousal support or secondary educational costs into consideration.

Jewelry

Despite what you saw and heard on “Wanksta,” the financially prudent move would be to rent these.
