On the evening of July 19th, celebrity jeweler Aron “Eric” Aranbayev, 40, was killed by a Dodge Magnum in front of his New York City home. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene after what NYPD said was an argument over a parking space.
The driver has since been identified as MTA train operator Charles Jordan, who has been charged with murder.
“He was just being dropped off, and some guy was in a rush. They got into a verbal argument and then the guy ran into him backwards,” a witness relayed to CBS New York.
Aranbayev, who suffered severe head trauma, died Monday at Jamaica Hospital. His funeral was held on July 21.
Popular celebrity jewelry company Rafaello & Co. has iced out plenty of celebrities such as Khloe Kardashian, P. Diddy and even, Jay Z. One of their more loyal customers, Floyd Mayweather, even offered a $10,000 reward for any information that would lead to the apprehension of the killer, who turned out to be Jordan.
