When you think about Hip-Hop music, a figure like Talib Kweli is sure to come up in some conversations as a favorite act for many. However, it’s pretty tough to envision the Brooklyn wordsmith alongside actress-comedienne Amy Schumer kicking a few bars, but that’s exactly what happened in Chicago on Wednesday.
The entertainment odd couple were part of a c0-headlining event in the Windy City, and Talib Kweli went into his portion of Kanye West’s classic track, “Get Em High” sans Chicago homeboys Yeezy and Common. However, Schumer stepped up big and gave Kweli the boost he needed for his set during the song and it was all caught on video.
