There never will be a time where Joe Budden won’t be entertaining on The Breakfast Club. The polarizing MC who somehow also functions as an open book could circle back on the show the very next day and still make for an entertaining conversation, word to his successful podcast.
Budden is back on the scene–musically–with a new album named All Love Lost dropping at the end of the week but that comes secondary to all the other drama that surrounds his life. Check out all the highlights we learned from Joe Budden on The Breakfast Club in the gallery below.

Pay Me What You Owe Me
Joe Budden has yet to cough up the $1,000 he owes both Charlamagne and DJ Envy for losing to Hollow Da Don in a rap battle earlier this year. His debt opens the floor to jokes for the duration of the interview.

Ants With A Sledgehammer
Joe still feels that his Donkey of the Day for starting a pre-Drake rift with Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj was a little extra. Of course, everybody forgot about it when “Charged Up” dropped.

Visibility Complex?
Envy and Joey are currently engaged in an ongoing disagreement that the Slaughterhouse member is more known for the f*ckery (getting arrested, VH1 reality shows, etc.) than his music. Budden admitted he was just as irked over the contrast in respect for his emceeing. Also, you can blame that struggle attire you see in the picture above on too much molly.

All Love Lost
Everything and anything will be discussed on what Budden says this is his 13th album. (They actually get around to dig too deep into it during the interview.) It hits stores this Friday, October 16. Pre-order on iTunes.

No Love Gained
Budden denies all allegations that he has ever beat up a woman or did anything relative in the realm of domestic violence, albeit he does say he has dealt with “a lot of flawed women.” When one of his exes were brought up, he quickly snapped, “Esther Baxter shouldn’t be a point of reference for anything that happens in the universe.”

Too Many Butchers In The Kitchen
Slaughterhouse’s first release on Shady Records–2012’s Our House–was a bit deflating in both the numbers and ratings department. Let Joe tell it, he feels like they picked the wrong songs to make the final tracklisting.

Reality Wash Up
Budden admits he was pretty naive going into Love & Hip Hop: New York and Couples Therapy when there is a stigma attached to the casting (i.e. he fell off).

Back when Joe’s ex and Drake were spotted out and about (as he’s known to do), the New Jersey native actually said he shot his Canadian rap peer a text and told him it was all good, in so many words. Two points to Charlamagne for attempting to fan the flames during the revelation.

Speaking of Couples Therapy, Joe admits to really having deep-rooted feelings for his ex-girlfriend despite what has transpired in the media. He also claims as far as reality shows go, Couples Therapy is as unscripted as it gets.
