Zach LaVine and Aaron Gordon put on a show during last night’s NBA Slam Dunk contest. While the rest of the field was quite suspect, LaVine and Gordon got busy, earning multiple perfect scores before LaVine came out on top.
Gordon set it off with a display of pure hops and power.
Then Zac Lavine came with this…
Not to be outdone, Aaron Gordon went (up) there…using the Orlando Magic’s mascot to perform this foolishness.
However, there’s a reason Zach LaVine won last year…
At this point, LaVine and Gordon’s scores were tied. So it seems like they just started making ish up on the fly.
Speaking of flying…Karl Malone ain’t got nothing on this…
Then Zach Lavine got ignorant…
But Gordon was, not, playing. Cue the mascot…
Kenny Smith swore it was over. Zach said hold this windwill from the free throw line, though.
But Gordon still had heat.
Then Zach said check this out, sir.
But, the former Arizona star still had another one in the clip. Peep the sl0-mo…
Then LaVine took flight from the free throw line again, except this time he brought the ball through his legs before the flush. Son…
In the end, Zach LaVine was the Slam Dunk champion for the second year in a row. Don’t try these dunk if you don’t have health insurance.
Oh yeah, the Splash Brothers dueled in the 3-point Contest but in the end Klay Thompson bested Steph Curry. See it on the flip.
