Kanye West: “I Will Have Over 100 Grammys Before I Die”

Not that Kanye West’s obvious internal battle is something to joke about, but when he goes on a Twitter rampage, it seems the world can’t help but take his words to heart. Sometime yesterday (Feb. 14), West went on an epic, seemingly incoherent, and maybe a little sad, rant about music, and the Grammys.
Yeezy says he’ll earn more than 100 Grammys before he dies, which means he has about 80 more trophies to rack up during the duration of his life/career. He also said he’s not coming to the Grammy Awards next year unless he’s promised Album of the Year (because there are no other artists in music besides him).

The rants aren’t new, but with social media West’s more than 18 million followers are subjected to his random tweets at any given moment, and sometimes the attempted stream of consciousness is just plain embarrassing.
For example, West has resorted to publicly begging Mark Zuckerberg for money on Twitter (he didn’t even bother to try Facebook), and he also thinks Africa is a country that doesn’t need the Facebook CEO’s charity. Since West’s name is Swahili, he should know Africa is a actually a continent full of countries. Also, his fans in Africa are probably pissed.
