Shortly after blowing up the spot about the Jay-Z and Lance ‘Un’ Rivera beef, Cam’Ron takes his talents to Vancouver, Canada for The Smokers Club Tour where he ran into the entertaining and quaint Nardwuar.
The Canadian celebrity interviewer was more than just ready to interview the Harlem rapper he was primed for it.
From showing Cam vinyl records right out of Harlem’s Hip-Hop History vault to pics of Cam during his high school basketball days, Nardwuar comically gets one of the best interviews out of Cam’Ron to date.
With that said we present to you 10 things we learned from Cam’Ron from Cam’Ron Vs. Nardwuar.

1. Kool G. Rap
Cam was inspired to become a rapper after realizing that Kool G. Rap was rapping with a lisp just like Cam himself had.

2. Graduation Rap
His whole speech for his elementary school graduation was a rap. He actually remembered it and rapped it too.

3. Pause On “No Homo”
Contrary to popular belief, Cam didn’t invent “No Homo” and “Pause.” He learned it from some cats in Jefferson Projects in Harlem.

4. Ma$e
Ma$e used to wear Cam’s hand me downs without a problem because “His restoration game was impeccable.”

5. Loon
According to Cam there was a time when Loon was gang banging in California. Can’t say we saw that one coming.

6. Paid In Full
Cam auditioned for Paid In Full with a real gun and actually improvised a lot of the Paid In Full dialogue including the classic “Kermit The Frog” line.

7. The Ghostwriter
After helping Ma$e write his first album, Ma$e offered Cam $10,000 for the assist which led to Cam going out on his own refusing to accept only $10,000 for writing a triple platinum album.

8. Basketball Diary
Cam’s high school basketball team was 23-0 before getting knocked out of the first round of the playoffs which led to Cam selling chronic afterwards. Talk about cause and effect.

9. Stolen Heat
Cam and Juelz stole the “Oh Boy” beat from Just Blaze and put it out themselves which had Just Blaze hot. They cool now though.

10. Watergun Fun With Big Pun
Big Pun used to roll around with a SuperSoaker watergun in his SUV during the winter and spray down crackheads. Social media would’ve went in on Pun’s lack of humanity had it been available back in the 90s—just saying.
