Vic Mensa is having the Best Worst Week Ever, so far.
It has been a very up-and-down last few days for Vic Mensa. The Chicago rapper released his first project in three years, There’s Alot Going On, on Friday June 4. But then his performance Governor’s Ball on Saturday, June 5 was cancelled due bad weather. He made it up to his fans by having a “Rain Check” show at Webster Hall on Sunday, June 6 where the first 150 fans were let in for free. His birthday was on Monday, June 7 but instead of cake, he got kicked off a flight.
According to tweets sent by Mensa, he was removed from his United Airlines flight before take off. He claims that he was kicked off of the plane for talking on the phone to a depressed fan “when the plane wasn’t even flying yet.”
The tweets have since been deleted, but you know how the internet works, nothing disappears.
Sensing that Mensa’s unflattering hashtag could gain some steam, United Airlines politely reached out to Vic and asked that he contact them.
