Olympic champion swimmer Michael Phelps brought a whole new meaning to the term “game face” Monday night.
While mentally preparing to compete in the Men’s 200 butterfly, Phelps seemed to be growingly agitated by South African swimmer Chad le Clos doing a boxing routine in front of him.
Even though the one-sided stare down only took place for 45 seconds, that’s an infinity in internet time. Naturally, the internet wasted no time capturing screenshots and making memes of the full-time swimmer, part-time smoker and sometimes drunk driver.
