We’re willing to bet adidas Originals had no idea their NMD sneaker model would be so popular when they first dropped late last year. A new colorway set to release in honor of the brand’s flagship store in NYC will surely be on the must have lists of many a sneaker fiend.

The adidas NMD R1 PK (that’s the version with the Primeknit upper) is dropping in an “Apple Red” colorway and is limited to just 200 pairs.

NMD’s are already winning thanks to hype, limited runs and fresh colorways, but these kicks here will be grail status for many. They will run you $170 at the store in NYC’s SoHo neighborhood and via the adidas Confirmed app (reservations open Monday, Aug. 15). Best of luck with that, though.
