Marvel continues to make its case as greatest comic book brand ever – as far as the culture is concerned – with its ongoing Hip-Hop variant comic covers.
Re-imagining classic Hip-Hop album covers with superheroes, Marvel’s latest Hip-Hop honorees are Capone-N-Noreaga and 2 Live Crew.
Hawkeye-N-Red Wolf will recreate CNN’s street classic debut The War Report while Avengers will duplicate 2 Live Crew’s memorable Move Something.
This coupled with Marvel’s Hip-Hop-centric series Luke Cage, you have to begin to wonder when Marvel’s going to introduce their first Hip-Hop record label.
Check out the covers below and let us know if you’ll be picking up a copy.
