Halloween Cocktails For Adult Treating, No Tricks

All Hallows’ Eve is upon us, but it isn’t just a holiday for the kiddies. For the adults, this is a time when a refreshing cocktail will hit the spot whether at a party or unwinding after slinging candy at trick or treaters.

But seriously, saying you got all the candy doesn’t exactly scream sophistication.

Here are come cocktails, made with tequila and vodka, that will guarantee that your Halloween is lit.

Drink responsibly folks. And don’t go out like Khloe Kardashian.

Blood Orange Morgue-a-Rita

1 oz. 1800® Añejo Tequila

2 oz Blood Orange Juice

Splash of Agave

Garnish with Chili

Combine ingredients, serve over ice and garnish with chili pepper

EFFEN Blood Orange Connection

1 1/4 parts EFFEN Blood Orange Vodka

3/4 part Courvoisier VS Cognac

1/2 part Simple Syrup

1/2 part Fresh Lemon Juice

Orange Twist, for Garnish

Combine ingredients in Boston Shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled martini glass with sugared rim. Garnish with orange twist.

Witches Brew

2 ounces 1800® Coconut

3 slices papaya

¼ ounce honey

Pinch of basil

1/4 lime

Directions: Add all ingredients to shaker. Shake and strain into highball glass. Garnish with basil sprig.

EFFEN Spiced Orange Mule

2 parts EFFEN Blood Orange Vodka

1/2 part DeKuyper Hot Damn

Ginger Beer

Lime Wedge

Method: Combine ingredients over fresh ice and garnish with a lime wedge.

Orange Cafe Flip
1 oz. Hangar 1 Mandarin Blossom Vodka
1 oz. Heavy Cream
1 oz. Espresso
1 whole Egg
Fresh Nutmeg

Add all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake without any ice to emulsify the egg. Shake again with ice and strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.
