The 12th wife of Swazi King Mswati III is making headlines after being named in a sex scandal with one of the official’s childhood friends.
Swaziland’s justice minister Ndumiso Mamba has stepped down from his position after being caught in bed with Queen Nothando Dube.
Dube and Mamba have reportedly been involved for months with the Queen disguising herself in a soldier’s uniform to visit the minister.
Pictures of Mamba being removed from bed with the Queen have surfaced showing the justice minister being ordered out of a hotel room by the King’s agents.
Nothnado, the 23 year-old Queen, is reportedly being held under 24-hour surveillance at the Queen Mother’s royal palace at in Mbabane.
King Mswati wed Nothnado when she was a princess in the Miss Teen Swaziland beauty pageant at age 16.
A statement regarding Mamba’s resignation has been released and says,
“Mamba resigned following certain allegations circulating in the country and internationally.”
