Fat Joe is the latest artist giving back to his fans during these economic times. Sneaker company Protégé has added the Terror Squad boss to its list of signature endorsers with his own shoe called “the Black Out.” Originally called, “The Recession,” the shoe is available at K-Mart and Sears for $34.99 and believe it or not, it’s fly and possesses some serious swag potential.

Joe is also in the lab finishing up his ninth album J.O.S.E. 2 (Jealous Ones Still Envy). The album is scheduled to include collaborations with Lil’ Kim, T-Pain and Lil’ Wayne. The first singles from the album were the radio friendly “One” with Akon and “Winding On Me” featuring Weezy and Ron Browz but Joe is now working a new single since the album was pushed back this summer. Collaborating with former Pretty Ricky lead single Pleasure P and Rico Love, Joe has now ignited dance floors with “Aloha.” J.O.S.E. 2 will also feature production from The Street Runners, Jim Jonsin and The Incredibles and is now scheduled to hit stores on October 6th.
