A California man has been arrested and charged with two misdemeanor counts of releasing an offensive material in a public place and assault for allegedly depositing semen in a co-workers water bottle.

Michael Kevin Lallana, 31, is accused of assaulting an unnamed female co-worker, by putting semen in a water bottle sitting on the colleague’s desk. The co-worker later unknowingly drank the reproduction fluid filled water and became sick.

Approximately three months later the same incident occurred. This time the sickened co-worker took the water to a lab to be tested and found out it contained semen. The victim then reported her findings to the police who linked Lallana to the crimes through DNA.

Lallana was arrested outside of his home this morning and is scheduled to be arraigned September 14. He is facing three months to three years in prison and will have to register as a sex offender if convicted.
