TMZ is reporting that Too $hort is being investigated for rape.
The Three Mile Zone writes:
The alleged victim is a protegee of the rapper who has done videos and other projects with Short.
Law enforcement tells us, the woman claims on November 1 she was at an L.A. residence with the rapper when he allegedly sexually attacked her. She told cops she’s a virgin and made a point of saying her provocative videos in no way should suggest she gave any form of consent.
The woman went to cops a month after the alleged incident.
Sources connected with the rapper tell us Short insists he never had sexual contact with the alleged victim. The sources say she was on his record label but he dropped her and that’s when she concocted the allegation. The sources add she subsequently asked to get back on the label and Short views this as a form of extortion.
Short has not been in touch with cops.
TMZ has not revealed a name, but a rapper named Ana Lou made made rape accusations against $hort earlier this year via Twitter, and the stories sound similar.
As raunchy as his lyrics have been through his career, $hort has rarely been in trouble with police as it pertains to women. He did come under fire in 2012 when he recorded an adivce video for XXL telling middle-school aged boys how to turn young girls out and “get whatever you want.”
In the video, he said:
“When you get to late middle school, early high school and you start feeling a certain way about the girls… I’m gonna tell you a couple tricks. A lot of the boys are going to be running around trying to get kisses from the girls… We’re going way past that. I’m taking you to the hole.”
He later apologized for the remarks after severe backlash and called the experience a “wake up call.”
