It’s been a week since the world lost Charlie Murphy to leukemia. Last night (April 19), comedy legends gathered together to pay their respects to the iconic comedian at a memorial service.
Some of those in attendance included Eddie Griffin, Cedric The Entertainer, Affion Crockett and DL Hughley. Of course, Dave Chappelle, Neal Brennan and Donnel Rawlings, who all worked closely with Murphy on Chappelle’s Show were also in attendance.
“Darkness is spreading… Paying last respects to brother Charlie Murphy,” wrote Griffin on Instagram.
