At one point, Ne-Yo was on top of the R&B world. If he wasn’t dominating the airwaves with his own records he was lighting them up with guest-featured vocals.
After a lengthy hiatus from crooning on cuts, Ne-Yo is coming back with a new album, Good Man, and checked into the Breakfast Club to let everyone know it’s about to be on.
Speaking with the morning trio, Ne-Yo opens up about that naked pic of him that’s been making the rounds on social media, why he fell back from making music, and why he said he would’ve performed at Donald Trump’s inauguration.
Here are the 8 things we learned from Ne-Yo on The Breakfast Club.

1. Nude Pic
That naked pic of him playing videogames was posted by his wife without his knowledge. He says he was in fact butt-naked and the game was Street Fighter. He didn’t say which part though.

3. Donald Trump
Even though he said he would’ve performed at Trump’s inauguration he insists that he was “absolutely joking” and doesn’t support Agent Orange in any way, shape or form.

4. The Break
He took a break from music just so he could live the normal life of a family man. Can’t be mad at that.

5. Bad Guy Gone Good
Ne-Yo feels that in order to become a good man, men need to basically sow their wild oats and get all of that wickedness out before turning over that new leaf. Good luck with that argument non-R&B superstar guys.

6. Remember Me?
Ne-Yo feels he has to remind people of the impact he’s had on the game because today’s generation has a short attention span. He’s not wrong.

7. Man Of Pride
He says he wouldn’t mind performing at DC Pride but wouldn’t replace the word “she” with “he” in any of his songs.

8. Don’t Call Him Soft
He won’t say he’s soft but he says he’s in touch with his emotions. He’s Ne-Yo, not sure anyone thought he was thuggin’ out here.
