We’ve reached the midpoint of Power season 4, and all hell has broken loose. Read below for shocking moments, spoilers, and everything in between.

Angela’s duty driven personality defines her. She believes in justice and vindication no matter the circumstance. So you can understand why Angela would feel so conflicted seeing video evidence that James St. Patrick did not hide the murder weapon. While talking to her sister Paz, she reveals her findings and her struggles deciding how to proceed. While Paz isn’t James’ biggest fan, she advises Angela to do the right thing, and she tried! Sandoval dismissed her claims and agreed with the rest of the prosecution team that framing the Million dollar deposit from Tommy as payment to murder Knox was the best move.

You knew Angela wouldn’t leave that alone.

Angela meets with Proctor to express her sincerest wishes to exonerate James, and meets with James and Silver to finally come clean about the case. James admits he was in Greg’s apartment, but only to destroy evidence against Angela being the mole. Angela in return offers the RICO strategy from the prosecution. It was the least she could do for James, since the prosecution was set on conviction by any means necessary. Unfortunately, this proved to be of little help.

Silver approaches Tasha about testifying as the bookkeeper of the legitimate businesses, but instead puts James on the stand to defend himself. Sandoval, in a chilling scene, describes Knox’s murder (that he committed) while accusing James of pulling the trigger. James breaks on the stand and it looks like we are on our way to a RICO trial.

The final day of the hearing, Silver offers Angela as a witness. In a scene reminiscent of Nino Brown implicating the “light-skinned brother from the bank” and the true leader of the CMB, Angela double crosses her team, and admits that the prosecution withheld exculpatory evidence from the trial in order to present a winning case. Mak held nothing back during cross examination, airing all of Angela’s dirty laundry including her relationship with Ghost, tampering of evidence, etc. Judge Tapper was extremely disgusted and slandered the Prosecution for misconduct. This led to a dismissal for Ghost and suspensions for the prosecution. James St. Patrick is a free man once again! Angela didn’t want anything to do with a “Thank You” from Ghost. She didn’t do it for him, she did it for justice. This is Angela’s true character; To seek out the truth regardless of the consequences. While the case may be over, the fallout from this trial will reverberate throughout the rest of the season.

Simon Stern reappears to offer financial support to Ghost and Tasha. They both refuse at first, but Tasha puts in a call to Stern, presumably to accept his offer without Ghost’s approval. That loan definitely comes with strings attached.

An important scene between Tasha and Tommy shows Tommy confessing to sleeping with Keisha and killing Holly. This is the first time Tommy has spoken honestly to Tasha about the Holly situation.

Jukebox is back, and she’s ready to finish the job; Extort and Kill Ghost and Tariq. Kanan seems to pivot effortlessly from using Tariq as a protege to following his cousin’s plan. Tariq might not be with us much longer…
